ROBERT L. WATSON

KNOWLEDGE IS THE MAGIC!

WHAT IS MELANIN?

Have you ever wondered what makes us so called “black or white?”

I know I did! Since my family and I are different complexions, I wondered what gave us our color.

It’s this magical stuff called Melanin.

What the heck is Melanin???

Melanin is a scientific term that means black amino for the dark or brown pigment that is found in all forms of life. From animals to plants to fungi. In humans it determines the color of the hair, eyes, and skin. Levels of melanin are primarily determined by genetics!

The evidence clearly shows that we as people have more in common than we think.

It’s called……Melanin!

WHO IS THE MAN?

Melanin Man Magic was created by Jerry Watson. Melanin Man is influenced by his father whose name is Robert L. Watson or bka Bobby or Bob. Robert is the face of this movement. He is a family man who was self-educated and believed that nothing can stop you but you! He excelled in a time when people that were heavily melanated were discriminated against and opportunity was limited. At this time the legal system wasn’t working for people with lots of melanin so Robert joined his local government and got involved with making a change for all shades of people.

Robert accomplished his personal goals of making a positive difference in his world by creating opportunity and spreading love! His life and his career was all about helping and serving others.

People like my dad are Superhero’s to me. He worked his magic everyday by protecting us and providing all of the necessities we needed to survive and to be successful. It wasn’t always about the money. He spent quality time, gave us his wisdom, and most of all loved us unconditionally. You know, the things that money can’t buy! These things are priceless for a child. My dad showed me how important it is for a man to be present in the lives of his children and also in his community.

GENERATIONAL LEGACY

Robert’s first loves were his mother Edith and his father Edward Watson. His parents provided their kids with a foundation of love, discipline, morals, values and the knowledge of oneself.

Next to that, was his brothers and sister. As the baby of the bunch, Robert always gave the credit to his brothers and sister for paving the way for him. They defied all odds and made a way out of no way by having faith in themselves and staying focused on their vision. They established a foundation for their family and community to gain knowledge and to be prosperous.

When most people look up to actors, sports players and musicians on television, I admire and still am inspired by my dad and his brothers and sister.

They loved and helped everyone that they came in contact with no matter their relation, religion, color, sex, nor their background.

Even if you were wrong they would help you get it right! They weren’t perfect but they believed in a Creator and lived religiously by principles that could be proven!

They will always and forever be my superheroes!
